On February 26, 2025, Walla Walla High School’s FFA Agricultural Issues shared their presentation on Urban Sprawl with the Walla Walla Rotary Sunrise.  The Sunrise Rotary also treated the team to breakfast.

The presentation focuses on the pros and cons of selling agricultural land to developers.  After the presentation, the Rotarians asked ten minutes of questions and provided the team with helpful feedback.  The feedback and questions will help the team improve their presentation before competing at the Agricultural Issues Forum at the FFA State Convention in May held at Washington State University.

This is the first of five of the Walla Walla team’s presentations to the community.  Future audiences will include the Walla Walla City Leadership, Walla Walla Conservation District, Coldwell Banker Realtors, and employees of the McGregor Corporation.  The presentation to the McGregor Corporation employees will be held in the WaHi Commons at 6 p.m. on March 25th.  That presentation is open to the public.
