Cod3breakers Make a Splash at Robotics Competition!
Garrison Middle School's robotics team, the Cod3breakers, dove headfirst into the deep end at this year's FIRST LEGO League (FIRST) regional competition in Pasco. The team's impressive performance earned them a coveted spot at the State Championship in Spokane!
This season's theme, SUBMERGED, challenged teams to explore the mysteries and challenges of our oceans. The Cod3breakers took on the issue of ocean dead zones, areas with reduced oxygen that threaten marine life. Through research and collaboration, they identified ways to reduce pollutants that contribute to these dead zones. The team even validated their innovative solutions with an expert from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)!
