CTE Farm Lambs

There has been much anticipation around lambing and it is officially underway. On Super Bowl Sunday, a beautiful little ewe lamb was born at kickoff and shortly after a large ram lamb followed. These lambs stayed inside for a couple of days before they were moved outside with their new lamb jackets!

February 18 update - We added 6 lambs to our lamb count. We also had a couple of ewes that were just about ready to have their lambs.

Stats: 10 ewes were still pregnant, 5 girls, 3 boys

February 24 update - Over the previous week, we had 6 ewe lambs bring the totals up to ... 9 boys and 9 girls = 18 lambs total

We had 4 more ewes yet to lamb.

Thank you to everyone who donated fleece for lamb jackets. These jackets helped us keep the lambs warm during the very cold weather.
