Walla Walla High School’s FFA Ag Mechanics Team takes first place

The WaHi FFA Ag Mechanics Team were walking a little taller and talking about the cool new tools and hats they won! Seven students went to an FFA Ag Mechanics contest at Garfield-Palouse High School on February 8th, and it was great!

The team of five - Brody Pingree, Treyton Sams, Josh Nelson, Kenny Gabel, and Rem McBride - placed first out of ten teams. Treyton was the third individual and the rest of the team placed in the top 11 individually out of over 40 contestants. Two alternates had a great day at their first-ever Ag Mechanics contest - Ben Stillman and Parker Morgan - who both placed well individually.

The team will continue their competition season with another event at WSU!
