FFA Members of the Month

September is Madison Doyle!

Madison is a freshman currently enrolled in Agriculture Mechanics and AP Environmental Science.

Madison raised a market lamb on campus this summer and worked diligently to train her lamb for our Walla Walla County Fair.

Madison’s hard work paid off as she earned the FFA Reserve Novice Showmen Award with her lamb! Madison embodies the attributes of a leader. She put many hours on the farm this summer and helped other showmen at the fair this year.

October is Darach Dye!

Darach is a sophomore who is currently enrolled in Welding, Agriculture Mechanics, and Animal Biology.

Darach is a caring person who brings warmth and joy to everyone around him. With his infectious energy and genuine kindness, he always manages to lighten the mood, no matter the situation.

Darach has a unique ability to make anyone smile and continues to make those around him happy. Darach plays an important role within our FFA chapter he’s always happy to help at meetings and is always the life of the party. Darach raised a market hog this past year and earned his Greenhand FFA Degree.

November is Andrea Esquivel!

Andrea is a senior FFA member who has been actively involved in the chapter over the past four years. She is currently enrolled in Physical Science in Agriculture, Veterinary Assistant, and Floriculture.

Andrea raised a pig on the school farm last summer to show at the fair. Andrea has been a huge help to all of the chapter. She was a big part of the success of the haunted barn, taking time out of her day multiple times leading up to the event to make it happen.

Andrea is a big help to all of the teachers doing any of the tasks that need to be done without a complaint about it. Andrea is a kind-hearted person who is always willing to lend a hand!

December is Ellie Ford!

Ellie Ford is a junior FFA member who has been involved with the chapter for two years. She is currently enrolled in Animal Biology and is participating in the Agriculture Issues Forum LDE (Leadership Development Event).

Ellie is kind, and caring, and is always willing to lend a hand. During her membership, Ellie has made many accomplishments within our FFA chapter! She has competed in Horse Judging and Livestock Judging, and she raised market Hog for the 2024 Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days Fair last year.

Ellie worked with her gilt consistently and her work paid off as she won Reserve Grand Champion Novice Showmen!

Ellie Ford is an inspiration for the chapter and we're excited to see what she accomplishes next!
