STEM Roadshow!

This spring, Garrison teachers Stephanie Penrose and Mike Bertram, Pioneer teacher Jonathan Arthur, and WaHi teacher Kerry Delfino took their STEM knowlege on the road to visit Walla Walla Elementary Schools. These teachers introduced their middle school STEM programs to 5th graders with a variety of fun activities. Students were challenged to construct the tallest free standing tower from just pipe cleaners, they practiced taking their own pulse and monitoring their respiratory rate before and after exercising, and played around with micro:bits enabling them to learn some basic computer programming!

Teacher Mike Bertram and Kerry Delfino are also looking forward to working with some of there students at their Summer Robotics Camp!
