SEATech students visit CBC

On October 20th, SEATech’s Advanced Manufacturing & Welding Technology and Construction Technology programs took their classes to visit Columbia Basin College (CBC). The students learned about career opportunities from Hanford Mission Integrated Solutions (HMIS) and then split up to learn more about some of the programs in the Career & Technical Education Building: Automotive Technology, Welding Technology, Manufacturing, and Nuclear Technology.

On October 27th, SEATech’s Careers in Media & Entertainment, Criminal Justice, and Health Science Careers (Pre-Nursing) programs took their classes to visit Columbia Basin College (CBC). 

Students in Careers in Media & Entertainment learned about the Digital Marketing program and theatre program and then took a tour of the CBC campus.

Students in Criminal Justice went to the Forensics Lab to learn more about their program and also took a tour of the CBC campus.

Students in Health Science Careers/Pre-Nursing started at Washington State University Tri-Cities’ College of Nursing to get a tour of their Nursing program and then went to the CBC Richland campus to tour the Health Sciences programs.
